7 Steps to Clean the Marble Statue Accurately

Before clean what you’ll need:

Mild dishwashing detergent or stone soap
barrels
Cloth or sponge
towels
Baking soda or clay powder
Hydrogen peroxide (12 percent intensity)
Plastic knife or spade
plastic film
tape

How to Clean a Marble Statue:

1、Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of mild dishwashing or stone cleaner and 1 gallon of warm water to a bucket.
2、Soak a sponge or cloth in soapy water and wipe down the marble statue. Rinse the sponge or cloth in the bucket often.
3、Rinse the marble statue thoroughly to remove any residue, then towel dry.
4、Remove stains. Mix the hydrogen peroxide with enough baking soda or clay powder to make a thick paste.
5、Use a plastic knife or squeegee to apply a thick layer of the paste to any soiled area. Cover the area with plastic film and paste it in place. Allow the poultice to dry for at least 24 hours.
6、Remove the plastic film and check that the paste is dry. If not, replace the plastic wrap and let it dry for another 24 hours. When the poultice is completely dry, use a plastic knife or spatula to scrape it off the marble statue.
7、Rinse the plaster residue from the marble statue and dry it with a towel.
